just caught a shiny alpha Magikarp, my second ZA shiny! ✨🐟
weirdly, the shiny sound didn’t go off until I was standing right next to it with it targeted…
not sure if it was because it was in the water, if it was at a weird angle while in the water, or what. I’m glad I visually noticed it tho!

so excited for the ZA release. it’ll be my first time playing a Pokémon game on release day since Ruby, when I was like 8. I vividly remember release day because that night I watched the Blair Witch Project DVD on my own not knowing it wasn’t real :’)
