Everything is ridiculous and I don't like it!!

This year has been a parade of obviously wrong actions, performed with the knowledge that nobody is going to do anything about it.

Makes sense, librarians *love* food trucks!

The most frustrating serial I cataloged didn't have a stable title (or, at times, any title) and only had numbering sometimes, but it was clearly meant to be a continuous publication. It was put out by a single person and I love it, it has so much anarchic energy

The two criteria for determining if something is a serial are (1) intended to be released indefinitely and (2) have some kind of numbering; (1) is invalidated by newspapers released for the duration of a conference, and (2) is invalidated by so many tiny newsletters

the worst thing you can teach a serials cataloger is that serials follow rules
