Really I blame lack of funding for art classes and general under-prioritization of art making in society. Most adults do not have art making as part of their lives so some get sadly enthralled when they discover what they think is their long dormant creativity by dicking around with AI.

This is going to be a nice evening by my lonesome. Once this fire gets a little bigger I may do some night writing. So fortunate to have these acres of wilderness. We are truly never alone in nature.

Decided to use this 1898 grammar book from my mother’s book shelf to finally bone up on grammar. “How fleet is a glance of the mind !” I mean, come on ! That there makes me want to learn about exclamatory sentences !

Just had my brother look for proof of my G-ma’s dual citizenship. Nice that they recorded her complexion on her certificate of citizenship. 🤮

I knew something big came down during the night. Turns out a 50(?) year-old big leaf maple broke in half. Didn’t fall on anything so all is good!
