Riddle has a background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He's almost twenty years younger. Riddle would wreck Goldberg. Add to the fact that Goldberg probably hasn't been in a fight in decades. Riddle does that stuff for a living.

They probably should have known better.

Things we catch on the re-watch.

"I know it was you, Fredo."

They might have to run that back on a ppy.

That's a great reworking of the four pillars in AEW. Nothing against the original four; these just have more star power. And I'm all for them only occasionally losing to each other.

I'm not down on The Deathriders, but there has been a surprising lack of twists and turns. People aren't hooked. There needs to be unexpected outcomes. They need to get a bit more innovative with this.

He was there for over a decade. It seems like there would be dozens of people they would be far more interested in, rather than someone they've seen as much as they've seen him. Is there anything he could do differently? It seems unlikely, but he's a solid performer.

Seeing how people justify not voting for the only qualified candidate is hilarious. These voters were just looking for reasons not to vote for her, knowing full well what the outcome would be if they didn't. It was an outcome they were more comfortable with than voting for Kamala.

Is it really a byproduct of TK's booking or his appreciation of Mox. Because I think we all know that TK isn't stupid. Since Mox is booking this Deathrider angle, TK probably wants to keep guys he sees as the future out of it. Which means that they aren't currently in the world title picture.

There are a few people who recently lost to Mox who can still be visually against his agenda. I know that this is just a couple weeks of tv. Jarrett hasn't won a lot and the Casino Gauntlet winners should be people who are relevant and capable of at least making us believe they could win.

You are absolutely right. Every wrestler should have that goal and state their goals. But him winning championship gold seems outlandish. Unless he's taken a certain title from a certain Le Champion of ROH.
January 3, 2025 at 6:39 AM
I hope not. Winners of The Casino Gauntlet should be relevant to the current scope of AEW. Not just someone who doesn't mind losing to Mox on short notice.

No way Jeff Jarrett wins AEW's world title. He's in the Casino Gauntlet next week in Tennessee, but let's be real: if Sting couldn't do it, Double J has zero chance.
