There is a very clear helplessness about low moods, because they are chemical, and once that is understood, it becomes difficult to unsee it. They are not just about feeling sad or low for a reason; they feel like an identifiable drop in mental and physical state, something below baseline.

I’m an upper-caste, cis-hetero Hindu guy from Kerala —and in Mumbai, that privilege shields me from discrimination almost everywhere. But here’s what I do experience: being surrounded by “educated” conversations casually dehumanising Muslims. Watching landlords reject tenants because they’re Muslim.

In almost every privileged circle I’ve been in Mumbai, someone casually refers to Muslims as “them,” “others,” or says “he’s good despite being a Muslim.”

I liked Lokah—the neo-noir touch, the mythological backstory, and so on. Kalyani is love, and the surprise star glimpses were exciting.

In bumble, when I take premium I don’t get any likes. Before there was a queue of 10 likes for which I needed premium to see them. A paywall bait probably. Bharat matrimony apps don’t do this I think, much more straightforward.
