I am once again asking why your priorities as Secretary of Defense are the same as the priorities of an Army First Sergeant.

I’m resigned to the fact I’ll have to reread it in month or so because I feel like I missed a lot. Liked it but I kinda feel like I didn’t sign up for the story it’s turning into.

I feel like the obvious alternative to being an officer with the authority to effect state sanctioned violence under a rules based order of shared principles and purpose is to not be a military officer but perhaps that’s just my peasant enlisted brain and its lack of noblesse oblige
