Starting a thread for every single prospect that appears in a 2025 MLB Spring Training game. I’ll be answering the question:
“What does this season have in store for this guy?”

This is awesome. What should be a terrific change to the MLB Draft. Really curious to see who the hosts and analysts are for the draft show
MLB has announced media rights agreements with ESPN, NBCUniversal and Netflix.
Among the changes coming in 2026:
MLB Draft Day 1 will move to Saturday of All-Star Week with NBC/Peacock showing the first hour. MLB Network and Peacock/NBC Sports Network will carry the rest of the first round.

I realize their focus is on pitching this offseason (as it should be), but Bo Bichette really is an incredible way to upgrade the Cubs offense without completely disrupting ABs for the rest of the hitters on the roster.

The argument for the Cubs adding Cristian Hernández to the 40-man on Tuesday is that there’s (sort of) precedent, with them adding glove-only SS Luis Vázquez 2 years ago. The difference is Luis hit well in AAA without much success prior & Cristian hasn’t in A+ but has pedigree.
