Harris ran a campaign where she went right on immigration, didn’t touch trans stuff, and held to Biden’s (awful) Gaza policy. She still got tarred as hard left. Trump held his votes from 20, Dem votes plummeted. Appealing to moderate conservatives is pointless, may as well lean left.
