While we'd personally rate him higher due to his ++ glove, he needs to develop his hit/power tools to make an impact. He did lift the ball more in 2025, upping his LD% ~10ppts to 29.2%. If his AFL run demonstrates a strength increase, his lifted balls could equal more hits!

We’re updating our graphics this offseason, and we’ll make this an emphasis!

His power was diminished in AA, and he has carried a ~25% IFFB the last 2 seasons. He does a great job of elevating and pulling the ball, but he will need to show plus pop in AA to excite our model. A non-premium position player also dents his projection.

It's Wilder Dalis! The Rockies IF has shown the signs of a breakout: a decent A-Ball sample at age 18, doubles power and contact, good lift, and fantastic K and BB metrics. We're high on him, and while he's a deep cut, he's shown real flashes of a future regular!

Possibly, but Priester has been one of their best long-term innings eaters this season. They also gave Koenig some run to good success.

Sorry for the slow response! Cartaya has found a model flaw where his lack of complete seasons has us going back years to project his career. Our model coming out soon fixes this error, which only affects very injured players.
