My mother is the Grinch. Not in a metaphorical or allegorical sense. She dresses up as the season’s villain, and has for years, for parties for disabled adults. This is how she found her way back to Christmas. Sweating in a green fur costume. Because Christmas hurt. She had buried a child & husband.

I prayed at St. Patrick’s in Dublin on St Patrick’s Day. (Church of Ireland, in case you were wondering.) It was a gorgeous experience, the service in the Irish language. Grateful for this message. Praying for the Anglican communion entire today, esp Church of Ireland. ⚓️

Just came from the Kansas City Episcopal Pride service before the Pride parade. I will work the Episcopal booth at the Pride festival later. It was a glorious service of love for all of creation. Prayers for safety today.

The F-14 Tomcat was a supersonic, twin-engine, two-seat fighter jet used to defend aircraft carriers from 1972 to the last retired plane in 2006.
