I have never been so ashamed of my country when I saw Korean workers who came to America to help create American jobs being taken away in shackles in chains.
During WWII, we treated the German & Japanese prisoners with compassion, offering them education & good food winning their hearts & minds.

There are few if any more consequential days in American history than December 7th. The stories I read about as I researched my novel "The Restless Wave" were stunning -- both in terms of the tragedy of that day's infamy and the heroism of the subsequent response.
