Starting a new chapter, and proud to see the continued impact of programs I helped build — like the first-ever Congressional Hill Day at APS.

Designing & leading this initiative was one of the most meaningful parts of my role. When science meets policy with clarity and purpose, change is possible.

Honored to have our Program Officer, Dr. Rebecca Pasillas, discuss the power of philanthropy in fueling psychological science at #APS25DC! ✨

This morning at #APS25DC, we dug into how foundations can fuel psychological science beyond federal grants.

From U.S.-based work (Russell Sage) to global proposals (APF), both secondary data and new studies are eligible.

The NSF GRFP was cut in half #nationwide and cancelled to @harvard.edu students, as the #agency seeks outside #funding and #program rebranding. This will severely harm the #STEM #workforce and their #science careers.

Will NSF’s flagship training program survive under Trump?
Despite 50 Nobelists and 75,000 alumni, NSF’s graduate research fellows could be a vanishing breed

Language researchers, unite!
It was an honor to talk with Dr. Brian MacWhinney—visionary behind the CHILDES database, built in the 1980s long before open science was a movement. If you’ve studied language acquisition, you’ve likely benefited from his groundbreaking, open-access work. #psychology
