At this point it seems a deliberate ploy to wipe out the vulnerable, one way or the other until there are only fit and healthy 20-60 year olds left to work.

It's all a bit Logan's Run. The dystopian future they warned us about is truly here. *goes to watch Bake Off for comfort*

I'm wondering whether to still try, as the young pharmacist I see really doesn't seem to care. But the stress of knowing I'm pushing it is a worry I can't deal with. And then I'm putting him in an awkward position too. Urghh.

Has been a "Cleo & Oz" day today. Took him to the vets for routine jab (£95! 😨) & he's lost a bit of weight, which is good.
Gave him lots of treats & fuss for being a good boy.

As a reward for me protecting him from the vet & being with him all day, he's just brought me a "gift" ☠️🤮.

Please note that they have sneakily changed the eligibility criteria for the covid jab so people are being turned away from appointments!

They've raised the minimum age to 75, or those with a weakened immune system can get it.

It was the deliberate lie that has irked me.

I'd be very open to a "holy cow, I completely forgot, I'm so sorry. It's on its way & I'll refund you 10% as an apology".

But not this:

Hey, thanks for the message, this item has been sent and you should get this Wednesday, we live in a very rural area so can take some extra time from us. Thanks a lot for your patience.

Agreed. It was due by the 3rd, so very overdue. Etsy go overboard with notifications when stuff sells, so it was a very deliberate non-dispatch. I'm not sure why they haven't penalised her already. Etsy has a tickbox/star rating feedback system & requests "item only" written feedback. 1 ⭐️ incoming!

Really annoyed at an etsy seller. Ordered item 24th sept. It still wasn't showing as dispatched yesterday (6th oct) so I messaged requesting a refund.
Seller replied to be patient and should be with me wednesday. Now item has been marked as dispatched.

They forgot, didn't they? Leave neg feedback?

Oh NOooooo!! He's testing his boundaries with you, as all kids do when they hit certain ages. The Dr Beckman cleaning range has been my go-to for all animal smells left on furniture and carpets. The stuff is utter magic.

"Cats don't actually love you"
A cat is a small creature in the middle of the food chain that is fully aware that you are a very large thing that could stomp its head in at any moment and yet it chooses to rest its tiny little head on your leg for a nap and spreads out on the floor near you exposing its belly and its most sensitive organs. It brings dead mice and bugs to you to share food.
Don't you get it? This tiny thing trusts you. It wants to help you too. It licks your leg thinking that it's helping. It kneads on you to find comfort. It shares its body warmth with you in the cold and gives you your space in the heat. It hisses at other mammals it sees outside including other cats in an effort to protect its family.
Cats love you so so much. But they will keep trying to eat plastic.
