A week ago I got a sudden idea for a book that I had to start writing immediately, even though I had another book under works. Now I already have 30k words in it. It's a rough draft with already 20 short chapters and much of it will change, but it's a good start. I've never written this fast before.

Going into a story without an outline is like going into a cave without a torch. It’s nice to see where you’re going, however you can only see so far ahead, as you truly do not know the cave.
