I honestly can't decide which aspect of AC I enjoyed the most. Definitely LOVED ac costomization part though. I will have to play around with ol' ps2 and see what I forgot from my childhood. 😁

I mean Landsword seems a lot of fun so it definitely could work I think.

adding a place for attaching head/sensor part. i am thinking of a design that resembles a ladar mount on boats.

currently almost finished watching this. skipped GDScript one. video itself is amazing, but i personally prefer jumping into a mess myself and look for documents, forum posts later so.. yeah. nothing wrong with that video at all!

new arm model aligns almost perfectly with previous dummy arm bone. but no such luck for legs.. i think i should fix the length for each legs type at this point and move on from there. redo animation work. there's not really much work done for animation anyway, so it's a great time to decide. :p

as long as bone naming is unchanged, animation will also work, since currently the entire bone position offset(changing arm position, torso position, etc.) is done in blueprint. no work is needed in blender so far.

started rigging. copied bone from previous dummy rig. not much work there. bare minimum amount of bones are used. and its... a robot so.. no skin weight paint work needed (yet). fairly straight forward work, i think.

still not satisfied with the design of arms, legs.. but i started thinking i am taking too much time for this. think i should take a break from modeling for now, rig it, apply the rig to my game and see if it works as intended. designing and modeling mechs can wait for later.

Not like innovative or creative and such but definitely will make mech designs fit better with the overall tone/mood i am after. 😆 More witty, not-so-serious stuff.
