Digging holes for my upcoming ground mount solar system. Off grid so no interconnection needed. Will be used to charge one of our EVs and power essential loads in the house. Power tools being charged from one of the panels set up temporarily.

As an observer to the industry (just following along, find it fascinating) - I’m kinda curious about black starts and how renewables could help out there. I found a couple of YouTube vids, but they were basically recordings of a PhD lecture (2hrs+), so not super accessible to a non-expert 😂.

Were you doing stata, gretl, SAS in undergrad? We did that at our school, but my dad told me we were - for undergrad anyway - a “harder/mathy” Econ program

Roll your own with an ec2 in a public subnet, set up route tables to use that ec2 instance as the default route, save the $$.
