You don't just get to *have* a leftwing ecosystem out of nowhere; you have to facilitate it. The right has spent years doing it. They ONLY give interviews & news to rightwing outlets. The left doesn't even come close to doing that.

If the ethics committee report clears, Matt Gates of any wrongdoing, then the speaker of the house should want it out there so that the Senate can make their decision on confirming him as Attorney General.
If it doesn't clear him, and the speaker doesn't want it out there then he's complicit.
