No, my argument is basic human rights and personal freedom. Everything should be allowed unless there is absolutely overwhelming evidence that it needs to be banned. The few isolated incidents such as the one you cite are not even remotely close to overwhelming evidence.

I don't accept your analogy. It's more like banning kids from the local McDonalds or the town library. Of course we managed without electric light for thousands of years. That doesn't mean it's OK to force today's kids to grow up in the dark.

Banning *anything* smacks of authoritarianism and should be avoided unless *absolutely* necessary. Ban will do far more harm than good. Under 16s have rights! 12 - 15 is a crucial developmental phase where having your rights trampled on by adults can affect you negatively for life.

The Android software itself is open source and freely available. It's not the property of Google or any other company, American or otherwise.

At lower levels the old relationships may still be functioning despite this, but the policymakers in what used to be the West’s leader are deeply and immovably hostile to Europe (and to traditional US foreign policy values).

There's an app called Radio Garden that's really cool. It let's you move around a world map and click on and listen to radio stations around the world right on your phone.

Right wing parties 47%, left wing parties 47%. Interesting. Also, with those numbers, First Past The Post will never give a fair or democratic result.

As Brexit negotiator, you made a holy show of yourself, Frost. Genuinely astounding that you now think you can pontificate about post-Brexit arrangements, as if you haven’t left behind you a stinking shitshow that has weakened and diminished our country for at least a generation.

Labour are doomed unless they bring in Proportional Representation.

Who is paying for such high-powered legal representation? Doesn't seem fair to me.

Europeans need to hurry up and start thinking of themselves first and foremost as European, not as residents of whatever state within Europe they happen to be in. Only a united Europe can stand up to the dog-eat-dog threats from Russia, China, and an overtly hostile US.

Aren't they paying out something like 320% of profits as dividend, though?

Lack of an entrenched constitution and something like the US 6th and 7th amendments (and the other 8 for that matter!) is a serious threat to civil rights and freedom in the UK.

This country is going down the pan. Quickly. If we don't rejoin the EU at this pace the UK will be poorer than Poland by 2040. Sod trying to make the far right happy, I want our leaders to do what's best for the country. Otherwise many of us will retire to poverty.
