well you can pick my brain about it any time!

while i’ve been in recovery from surgery, my brother has been watching my cats in his home, and i did a face time with my cats last night and my brother’s gf. my cat vladimir lead me (gf holding phone) to show me my brother

on the other hand, i would very gladly take a wound vac situation rather than have friends and family dressing my raw meat daily

and also i miss my leg how it used to be, and my activity level, and my pain level, and my ability to use the bathroom regular style!

i will be so, so glad when this phase of recovery is done and when this surgery process in general is over!!

hardest thing i’ve done in my life!! and i’m not done!

i vacillate between feeling okay, feeling sad, feeling scared, and feeling bored.

i am SO grateful that i haven’t experienced some of the worse complications possible, and i’m really glad to have the privilege of getting this surgery and being cared for by friends and family while i recover.

i will only tell you to get it sorry
