The boring answer is because of US culture issues with sex there is a serious issue with chargebacks and stolen cards in regards to purchasing adult material.

Card companies are just penny pinching instead of accepting the cost of business. Adult work should be sold. Chargebacks are part of that.

When I painted less in mixed media and more in acrylics I would take the tops off my tropical aquariums in the art studio lol

If it makes you feel any better sometimes I cut down my list explicitly for things like reducing my desire to compulsively check for new art. It’s possible for an artist to make my brain Extremely Happy but if they post often I may need to put some brakes on myself. 😅

I wish I had a book of these insanely well preserved Pleistocene animals where each one was documented in high definition photos from all sides. It’s astonishing how much can be preserved and conserved once removed from their tomb.

I can only keep in the real world moment for a few minutes at a go unless I have an outdoor job to do, but having any amount of time apart from *wild gestures at nation* WILL help. Like any gasp of air is welcome when you’re drowning.
