This is disgusting. But not surprising. They are working extremely hard to hide, while continuing to claim they’re doing everything right.
In the Texas Senate, Phil King has filed the Bill Waybourn Protection Act (SB 781), closing records about law enforcement misconduct in the wake of a raft of dubious deaths at the Tarrant County Jail. King's bill aims to prevent future embarrassments not by fixing problems but keeping them secret.
