Feeling weirdly nostalgic for my aqua blue original Nintendo 3DS today. It was objectively one of Nintendo's weirder console designs. Everybody wants gaming handhelds to go back to being transparent (which hey, fair), but I think more gaming handhelds should be glossy, sparkly fingerprint magnets.

The firings over a Discord channel suggest deeper internal issues. With the channel active since 2022–23, this doesn’t feel sudden. Maybe they learn from this, 'cause the remaining team needs to feel safe & supported. Rebuilding trust after seeing colleagues dismissed like this won’t be easy.
