a lot of us just want a platform where:

Trans people aren’t treated like a “debate topic.” or anything aside from just people

Sex workers aren’t punished for existing.

Artists can post mature or NSFW work without fear of sudden bans.

The community actually enforces safety, not purity.

Even if you give her the benefit of the doubt (“it’s just a follow”), the optics are awful. Bluesky was supposed to be a refuge for marginalized creators, especially after Twitter turned into a hate engine.

Aaron’s made things worse with tone-deaf PR responses.

Now Rose (the COO) following an openly far-right organization like the Heritage Foundation and the response being “delete the labeler who pointed it out”

Add in Team Ninja’s own mixed record (Stranger of Paradise = cult hit, Wo Long = divisive, Rise of the Ronin = mixed reviews), and it’s easy to see why players might wait for reviews or sales instead of preordering Ninja Gaiden 4

Even though it was single-player and story-driven, everyone assumed it would be another “loot-grind cash grab.”

Reviewers loved it, but it sold poorly at launch. Only months later did people realize it was actually great after word-of-mouth and Game Pass.

A live-service, microtransaction-heavy mess that felt soulless and unfinished. Everyone remembered the XP throttling, “boosters,” repetitive missions, and broken promises.

It flopped because Square Enix destroyed player trust the year before with Marvel’s Avengers.

Even if they make something good, people won’t believe it until long after launch.

Reputation damage spreads faster than reputation recovery.

It takes one flop to make people doubt you.

It takes three good games to make them believe again

In theory, clunky controls make horror scarier by limiting power.

In practice, it often just frustrates players, you die not because the monster outsmarted you, but because your character rotated like a forklift trying to back out of a parking space.

This constant cycle of outrage doesn’t help the fandom or the creators it just drives people away and makes everyone anxious to engage.

The show is two weeks old. There’s one episode. We’ll probably be waiting months for the next, so let’s not burn ourselves out before it even arrives.
