Jack Smith: "The people who assaulted police officers and were convicted after trial in my view and I think in the view of the judges who sentenced them to prison are dangerous to their community. Some of these people have already committed crimes against their communities again."

We’re in a moral fight, and Democrats in Congress need to start acting like the opposition party on every 👏🏽 damn 👏🏽 thing 👏🏽

Opposition isn’t about polite press releases and sad cable hits. It’s about using every procedural tool available to slow, expose, and force accountability.

What's to stop the Trump regime from going after you next?

All of us need to realize the danger we are facing right now.

A dictatorship knows no bounds.

@usrepjimmypanetta.bsky.social Are you on this list?
Rep. @justinjpearson.bsky.social posts he’ll never be on a list of Dems who voted to praise ICE, which included Rep. Cohen— who since said he meant to vote “No” but thought he was voting on something else. (Letter👇🏽)

Let's make this very clear. Greenland is part of Denmark, a NATO country. Invading Greenland would be a violation of the NATO treaty which the United States is a member state. As a treaty, it carries the power of law in the United States.

INVADING GREENLAND WOULD THEREFORE BE AN UNLAWFUL ORDER!

Trump is completely oblivious (nothing new here) to Colin Powell's Pottery Barn Rule ... "You Break It. You Own It".

As far as he is concerned, it is "I break it and I keep what I want and you get what's left unless I want it then I take it and you pay for it and you pay for all my stuff too."

Five years ago, our great American democracy was put to the test, and Donald Trump failed it.

The danger he poses was clear then, and it remains clear now. We must never forget that.

On the 5th Anniversary of the failed January 6th insurrection attempt, we’re reminded how fragile democracy can be. We must remember the darkness of that day so it’s never repeated. As history is rewritten by some, we choose to speak the truth of what happened.

FIVE YEARS & he has not been held accountable for one of the most disgraceful events in this nation's history.
Trying to overturn a fair election in an attempted coup against his own government is the very definition of TREASON. We can never move forward until this is fully adjudicated. #ShameOnUS🇺🇸
