I've been looking for an excuse to swap off Sephiroth and Jim made Kirol look fun on the Spike Feeders episode, so I'm putting it together.

Decided to sleeve up Kefka Danse just to try it out, but I think it's less fun for everyone including me. I think it's stronger too. Venom's late game loop is tough for some decks, but blue flicker effects really speed run the game with Dusk Mangler.

It's wild how much Breach just never seems to miss. Got to pop off with my Control Crew and someone else's Y'shtola getting back Behold the Sinister Six!, Incarnation Technique, and Deadly Rollick.

I really like the Mega Absol toolbox deck, but damn do I feel like I need a page of notes to keep me doing the things I need to do and remind me what matters in matchups.

Having hog thoughts again and kinda want to update the Mamoswine ex deck to fuck around at locals. The most recent testing I have done was a 1 and 1 split of Jacq and Hilda over the 2 Jacq I had been playing. Now there is also Dawn that seems kinda neat.

Year end wrap up for Shigeki:
Tectonic Split and Evendo have both been S tier in a way that makes me want to cut them. Split is just such an absurd amount of mana advantage it feels infinite. Station has been easy to hit with Field making too many zombies and the land MaRos.

It's not doing anything too splashy, but getting back 5-6 creatures without a drawback or extra cost has felt strong every time. I think this is the best mass reanimation card printed in a long time.

After a few games with the new cards I added to Venom I am declaring both additions good. Toph has given some minor fetchland value and set up reanimates while puttting reanimates back in my hand. Desperate Plea has been a solid way to bounce things in and out of play while killing a threat too.

I get Blood Moon and Magus getting the tag for Mass Land Denial even if I think those should see a little more play in B3, but it seems a bit silly that Zhao has it despite being the Blood Moon effect being gated behind 7 mana.

I heard nothing especially good about the Omega fight in Wilds so I have not gone back to play more MH in a while. Seeing the Gog update trailer doesn't really fill me with confidence that it will be enjoyable either. 🙃

Every couple months I get the urge to rebuild my King Caesar/Snapdax "this large control finisher now deals commander damage and has double strike" deck.

Currently I want to build two Grixis decks I know will probably be too strong for the playgroup and this RG guy who is likely way too weak for the playgroup.

I wanted to revisit party with the new esper legend, but I'm not sure there is as much to build around with it. Party needs something secondary so Nalia was the +1/+1 counters and lifelink. Unsure what this one would be.
