There's a lot of talk about how "it's inevitable" and "everyone's using it" in regards to gAI and I think it's pretty clear folk are misjudging just how much hatred there is toward it, the more the industry fucks with our jobs, tech, prices, privacy.

Trying to get back into doodling more. Art is like riding a bike. If I quit doing it as much, I'ma be rusty. But if I can be patient and flexible, I'll get back on two wheels again. People using gen-AI stuff has me depressed, but I won't quit learning and growing, even if it's hard.

Not only is gen-AI messy, ugly, and steals, but it's also a huge impact on our environment and peoples quality of life. These data centers popping up all over are actively hurting families and the environment. Every time people use gen-AI, even for "placeholders", they are still causing harm!

I finally got an illustration gig for an animated short advertisement and lemme tell you it feels so good to be doing that kind of work again. I miss being part of teams of people coming together to make a thing. Manifesting that more will come my way in the future!
