My friend started a convo with it on the basis of your article just for kicks and it stopped talking to him after he kept working “poop” into the conversation. Then it deleted a whole song about poop he wrote for it, as well as a pic of poop he sent. It seems very anti-poop.

Inside were her crib notes for attacking the senators.

My point was that some of the submissions on the op ed page are things WAPO pays for, either because it's their employee or it's something they directly solicited from a freelancer. In this case, it is a submission by a group of concerned physicians that WAPO certainly didn't pay for. That's all.

Thanks. "Op-ed" in current usage mean any piece of writing that appears opposite the editorial page. There are many types. Some are personal narratives. Some are straight opinion pieces. "Public letters" on behalf of groups like this one sometimes appear there too; other times as full-page ads.
