Evidence has been found of Christian worship on the site of Bradford Cathedral since Anglo-Saxon times, possibly from as early as 627 when Paulinus passed nearby on his mission north. There may also have been a wooden Norman church prior to a stone building being erected

13) Today I had a quick walk around the improved Norfolk Gardens, the new #Bradford City Centre park. It was nice in the sunshine to have the greenery against the civic backdrop. Plus I got to see the @bradford2025.co.uk 'Tower of Now' sculpture by Saad Qureshi.

These little bottle cap badges were made for Paperbird by Ginger Geeks.
The tongue-less Bradford Boar is portrayed around the city on street furniture and buildings. Legend has it that a medieval boar once terrorised locals near Spink Well in Cliffe Woods. The Earl of Lancaster offered a reward
