If you don’t respect your own work no one is going to. So when you walk up with fan energy talking about how you have a podcast with your friend no one listens to it feels awkward. Guess what. I also have podcasts no one listens to. But I don’t lead with that energy.

I was checking out Papers, Please! for the first time and the steamdeck experience of it is horrible despite it being deck verified. it defaults to a community layout that only makes sense if you played the game before, and you have to change the game to fullscreen for the mousepads to evem work

I listened to the devs talk about the game and it has a dynamic difficulty system, the better you do early the harder the game gets later.

I was also a big fan of Keep Driving, and Consume Me kinda scratched those same itches so I'm curious to see your final review on it

honestly its Slay the Spire for me... Ive owned the game for years and tried it a few times and just didnt like it. Didnt click for me until watching northernlion running back A20s last year, after that I put like 300 hours in getting A20 for 3 of the 4 characters (RIP watcher i hate your playstyle)

its soooo good, the editor can be a bit frustrating but its dwarfed by the fun of watching your little lego rovers go to work

it really stood out to me after the past few years of social media degrading... reddit is preferable now

reddit is having an interesting arc imo, as someone whos been there since like 2012 it feels like it went from edgelord/gamergate/nerd central to something more... centrist? a lot more women use it for hobbies/pop culture stuff than before, i use it a lot for discussions on reality TV shows
