I had played two Animal Corssing games simultaneously for the past few weeks, and I think today every ounce of my muscles feel more than sore. Maybe it's the way I sit or crouch, but I'm pretty scared of it.
I am safe right now, but those nerves remind me every once in a while.

In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Mario and Luigi's level-up stat gains are bizarrely based on what level Bowser is currently at. If he is at a "good" level, they will be several times more powerful. The game does not tell you which levels are good and which are bad.

In the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Rosalina fights Megaleg. However, the real Megaleg from the game is much larger than one would expect and would have made Rosalina almost impossible to see when zoomed out. The size of the one in the movie is closer to Digga-Leg.

In Super Mario Sunshine, Shadow Mario's voice is created by applying a filter to Mario's voice; however, he does not use all of Mario's voice clips. By making Mario himself use the filter, we can finally hear Shadow Mario say things like "MAMA hoohahoo wow wow" and "The horror".

Glad I had the Today app, because WOW there's a lot of Japanese releases on this one day, one of which is Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.
My journey with RPGs started with this one. My sides hurt after laughing too much of the jokes in this game. I'm grateful this series exist.

Since the star collection and post-star collection cutscenes in Super Mario Galaxy 2 have an average length of 30 seconds and a full playthrough collects 240 stars, the player spends at least 2 hours per playthrough simply watching Mario collect stars.

In Super Mario Sunshine, Mario is immune to bees while talking. He will be pushed around by them, but not be harmed while he's engaged in conversation. Note that he is not simply immune to damage - e.g. he will still die to heat stroke while talking. It is specifically bees.

Galaxy film trailer disappointed me so much, this is a hard pass from me. It feels overwhelming and nothing at the same time.
I did chuckle at the one scene where the Lumas were adamant about hearing the Bros story again from Rosalina, but that's about it.
Maybe I'm just stingy with this film.

We are living in a golden age of bootleg Mario plushes. The amount of unofficial merch we've been getting for the Mario RPGs is insane, and it's surprisingly high-quality compared to most bootlegs.
