I would love to represent the postdoc/trainee community - our voices are important, and I’d make sure to bring our ideas to the table!

It’s a scary time to be an early career researcher, and I really feel that on top of doing great science at the bench, we should be out there doing great science communication in both formal and informal settings!

Anyway here’s a picture of a zebrafish I took through the eyepiece of a microscope today because despite all this horrific bullshit I’m still really into how an embryo became an embryo #devbio 🧪

Developmental biology has merit on the facts that every single one of us has to develop to exist. Not all of us get cancer or heart disease! Frankly, it’s a failure of our community that we haven’t made this point to the general public.

I am tired 😭

Yes but managed to get cells everywhere except my tissue of interest 😭 Vangl2 in the nervous system is so pretty though!
