Max Verstappen is certain to be crowned 2025 World Champion, with FIA regional Vice Presidents required to approve the champion.

The lone South American VP will only back Verstappen.

The news is welcomed by Verstappen’s fan base, who aren’t generally concerned by fair victory.

McLaren have made initial enquiries as to the cost of landfill disposal of hundreds of thousands of ‘Lando Norris: 2025 World Champion’ caps.

The ordering of the caps was described by one McLaren insider as “the biggest blunder since the Qatar GP”.

Oscar Piastri is set to sign an exclusive sponsorship deal with Viagra for the final two races.

A spokesperson for the drug said: “It will be a huge marketing boost if we can resurrect Oscar from his flaccid F1 performance in the second half of this season.”

Ferrari has cancelled debrief meetings for the entire Las Vegas GP weekend.

Ferrari management believe debrief meetings are a waste of time, as the drivers should focus on driving and it is impossible to improve the car, since the car’s performance already speaks for itself.

Ferrari president John Elkann remains confident in Ferrari’s technical team and their improvements to Ferrari’s car.

As a consequence of recent technical improvements, the drivers are now only required to lift and coast for 75% of the race distance - rather than the previous 90%.
