Fantastic movie. But watching it, I realized something about myself. That I'm glad there are hardly any black folks in horror because I just can't stomach watching black folks being genuinely frightened, hurt, or killed cuz the shit happening in real life so often makes it unbearable.

I had no plans to see Wicked. And while I've heard of Cynthia Erivo, I've never seen her act or sing. So I wasn't compelled. Then I watched Bad Times at El Royale just now and I will be attending Wicked tomorrow. El Royale was fantastic but her acting did it for me. If you haven't seen it, SEE IT!

Shout out to this young man. He did the damned thang. Alien: Romulus was good but the acting job this dude did made a good movie fantastic. He carried it.

I was just about to watch borderlands, no matter how bad it was specifically because I love the characters Scooter and Ellie. So imagine my shock to find out neither is in the movie. 😆 Words can't express my disappointment.
