I am building HudBuilder. A WYSIWYG design tool for heads up displays for smart glasses.
Quick usage demo of HowMuchIsThisMeetingCosting? The meeting cost overlay utility that I've just published on the Microsoft Store.

Repost if you hate unproductive meetings!

I can't be the only one here

I've just added a Pomodoro mode to LifeTimer. Now you can easily switch between the life events/clock mode and the Pomodoro mode to get a great looking Pomodoro app on your Windows desktop

About half-way through the feature list of my next app. DeskNote will be a Windows Sticky Note replacement for people who want more harmonious and less cluttered desktop notes:

Quick demo of my current windows desktop - showing my DeskWeb, LifeTimer and DeskQuote (WIP) apps. I think they look pretty good when working together!

You know what the world needs? Another desktop clock!
...
Ok, hear me out. What about a desktop clock that looks neat and also tracks multiple significant events in your life?
Here is the first look at LifeTimer, coming to the Windows Store soon:

Just had the realization that I can spin DeskWeb into a second product with about a week of development work. #buildinpublic

Decided to knuckle down and do some work on HudBuilder. Spiked out sparklines and gauges - almost like a real dashboard tool. Stepping back from the solution for a couple of weeks has helped me notice a bunch of QOL issues that also need to be fixed as a priority.

Second time lucky with the store submission. The extra testing paid off! Now to work on the upgrade options and add the store link to the support site

Startup Diary: Got the alpha version of the WebPaper support site deployed (webpaper.site). Next step will be to add the freemium/pro versioning code, then it will hopefully be ready for store submission!

WebPaper is a simple utility that lets you run a carousel of chromeless, input ignoring, semi-transparent web pages on your desktop. (e.g. Web WallPaper). It's primarily aimed at people who want analytics dashboards or webgl/webasm animations running as their wallpaper.

Startup diary: Finally some live data! A quick demo of my BlueSky feed in a Hudbuilder display. Can't wait to try this in AR!

Startup Diary: Quick demo showing the progress of the standalone HUD viewer for viewing a simple themed demo display designed with HudBuilder. This is an example of what end users will see in AR. A massive amount still to do to get to MVP, but progress is being made.

and a line graph, as a treat.

Startup Diary: First cut at integrating graphical visualisation widgets into hudbuilder. The overall idea is showing promise, and I am picking up huge numbers of QoL/workflow improvement ideas by putting these demo screens together.

Gaming update: I normally hate rogue-likes, but Blue Prince is digital crack and has me hooked. The adventure/exploration/discovery/puzzle solving components scratch that deep Myst itch, and there is enough progression each round to keep the randomness from being too frustrating (so far)

Startup diary. Styling can now be applied to individual elements and the output is starting to look vaguely HUD-like. Getting sick of seeing Test Data XXX, so the next sprint will probably be to spike out a graphical widget or two

Default theming for the HUD designer is coming along. Next step is to enable theme overrides for different items

Startup Diary. Making some progress with display theming. Still a long way to go but even a few early theme controls show encouraging signs for the HUD designer

I wanted a clock web page to test out sci-fi themed digital signage/kiosk mode with my desktop Raspberry PI. I couldn't find a clock web page that was ad-free, minimalist and configurable so I vibe coded one: suckmyclock.xyz
