Still sorting out how I feel about Brookhaven Hospital. That said, this game definitely makes the case that Silent Hill (1) and Silent Hill 3 are by far the scariest games in the entire franchise. Reason being, the influences it draws from those two is apparent and it's -creepy as hell- due to it.

This remake fascinates me. The changes with the lighting and even the details like sword marks being on the walls have given me many ideas for analysis.

Thinking about how my friend told me I had 30 minutes left to beat Hollow Knight, before she had to go. I wouldn't be able to play again until she's back from vacation.
I leaned forward, figured out how to speedrun Hollow Knight, and saw the frames against The Radiance. Amazing game.

Started playing Hollow Knight for the first time. I see why people like her so much. Out of all of the boss fights that have you fighting someone around your size, or with similar abilities, (Vergil, Jeanne, Artorias, etc...) she's one of the most DISRESPECTFUL.

Perfect Days: What a remarkable film. I thought it had a slow start, but realized it's intention as it progressed. Quickly, I became enraptured by Hirayama's routine and came to appreciate the peace that he's found: some of that which I have lost.

I haven't talked about it over here, but I've been deep in a reading list for Betsy Braddock. She's been a fav of mine (with or without the Psylocke mantle), but I didn't know much about her before 2000's era X-Men. Been cool experiencing old stories that I never read.

Weapons is an interesting movie, for sure. I think I like it more than Barbarian, but I do like Tess more than the characters in this one. Weapons has like 3 allegories that it runs on and I'm surprised that the director refuted the most in your face one. Lol.

Spent the evening playing "Fatal Frame III: The Tormented," for a friend of mine and to my surprise, the scary game is actually really fucking scary. 😭 The sound design is great. I'm up here trying to have a conversation with her and keep stopping, cause I keep hearing the most wicked shit ever.

Watched Bring Her Back. Whatever I ultimately feel about it, when I wake up in the morning, there is one aspect of this film that my opinion won't change on: Sally Hawkins' performance. Sally was acting like her life was on the line. She's that good in this.

I adore M3GAN 2.0. Ivanna Sakhno sells the hell out of Amelia. She gives one of my fav performances of a murderous robot, since the old Terminator films.

Working on the script for the next horror game video that I want to make, and I think Mia Winters (RE7 and 8) is the most interesting character that Capcom put in a horror game after Haunting Ground.
Then they removed all of her agency and did nothing with her in Village or the DLC...

As excited as I am about the remake of the original, I'm a "Born From A Wish" girlie, so I really hope they have someone working on it for SH2r.

I'm happy about Bloober making a Silent Hill remake. I'm glad they didn't skip it and go to SH3, like some people were hoping. I am super curious as to what changes might occur or if they are gonna leave everything as is.
