There's also a lovely art deco lamp (which is also almost certainly not suitable for outdoor use), suggesting that daddy rabbit's got some cash to spend.

Not just any story though, the calendar makes sure to let us know. No this is 'A Christmas Story' thus making this totally appropriate for an advent calendar. But which Christmas story? At this stage I'm not ruling out the novelisation of 'Die Hard'.

And here's the process of pencils to final art. I'm only just now realising that I made the letters of 'the Phoenix' as cutouts by accident because I couldn't decide what colour to make them, but they kept that in for the final version. An accident? No, I am just subconsciously a visionary GENIUS.
