Also Republicans don't have a working majority in the House anymore. They just don't. On anything related to Venezuela Massie and Bacon will clearly side with Dems, so they might as well just go for it.

Third time I've said this today, but I truly think there are enough votes in the House to impeach Hegseth and Kennedy. Don't think that a vote will ever come up for it even if someone introduces it and I don't think Hegseth gets removed by the Senate (RFK maybe) but it should be done anyway

Said it before elsewhere but I truly truly don't get why they feel the need to say Maduro at all in the statements. These are press releases, they aren't meant for posterity, you don't have to include contextual information on what its about.

And as Mayor Pete proved in his statement its possible to be as bland as possible and still put out a compelling statement on this. You don't need to be anything other than a normal ass centrist Dem to think of a way to say "these strikes...not great"

It is basically industry jargon (same with "kinetic strikes") so it makes them sound more in the know when they say it
