Russians who care about human rights are united in their full support for Ukraine. It's incredibly arrogant of well-meaning Westerners to think they know better.

Mr Lønborg-Jensen was mistaken, clearly, but perhaps he points to the heart of the matter: the Russians thought they were all still Soviets, whilst the Ukrainians didn't. I was in Sevastopol for four months in 1994 - no-one took Ukraine seriously as a sovereign state.

Is it perhaps the Comintern infused evolution of De Valera's comely maidens? A yearning for a lost Eden uncontaminated by Anglo Saxon capitalism?

I know, shocking. The electorate is too easily swayed by the Soros funded, globalist agenda MSM, as Darth keeps telling us.

I was in Cork harbour last year and the running joke was how the government has been buying the shiny new frigates in port but they can't recruit crews because the domestic economy is too strong.

Mick Wallace and Clare Daly are the noisiest advocates of Irish neutrality but one suspects they'll be silent in this case. Any insights as to why that might be, Darth?

Kuchma, Ukrainian president and signatory in 1994, was previously chief designer of a missile factory in Dnipro

Base racism or, as we used to call it in 2016, "legitimate concerns about democratic representation in European regulatory committees"

What is a "small country"? Norway's oil-based sovereign wealth fund is worth over 2 triilion and generates 250+ billion per year, much more than Ukraine's GDP. Defending Europe against Russia seems a pretty good way to spend some of that windfall.

When Cummings uses the term "over-promoted prick" one can't help but suspect that he's been taking a lonely Viagra and adorning his member with a miniature bicorn hat.

Dugin's trick was to look 80 when he was only 40 thus giving himself decades of playing the ancient mystic.

Sadly Reform is much better than C-rated for winning attention and dog whistling. I would say they're weapons grade, A+ opponents to people who believe in quaint things like the rule of law, facts and decency.

That's a stakhanovite "should"

If Trump said that Peru's secret police are training llamas to desecrate Ukrainian cultural artefacts, yes, I would expect a Ukrainian newspaper to ask someone in Peru for their comments.

Meduza is Latvian. It's reporting on a hostile country, Russia which is at war with Ukraine, Latvia's ally. The story accused Ukraine, so it's obvious to ask Ukraine for comment.

Distributing FSB press releases is the job of state news agencies like TASS. A supposedly independent news org like Meduza should seek to verify the claims, ask Ukrainian officials for comment, place the press release in the context of previous proven and disproven FSB press releases ie journalism.

"The Russian FSB says..."? Who are you, TASS?

Re your Patreon page, it's a "vial of perfume". Although vile works in the Salisbury sense.
