Yeah, this is just a bunch of people misdirecting Trump hate. There's nothing wrong with taking down a dying tree before it falls on something/someone.

Turns out the USA is going to start following the UK's lead on #rationedHealthcare

Something I haven't seen on bluesky yet:

While everyone is enraged at Trump pardoning Jan6 criminals, no one seems to be all that bothered with Biden granting clemency for Michael Conahan aka the "kids for cash judge" who took bribes to send over 2,300 kids to jail/juvey (some as young as 8).

This is good work. Warrantless abductions of children from schools?

What the literal fuck?

Props to CPS

That’s on you for confusing masculinity with humanity!

I don’t recall any scenario where dudes employer prided themselves on their masculinity actually behaved as ideal men.

My specialist referral to check for sleep apnea was 6-8 months

First let’s acknowledge that you can’t always get referrals in the NHS. GPs have a limit they have keep under & are fined or sanctioned if they refer too much. #rationedHealthcare

Assuming you get a referral, wait times vary by location & specialty. Autism assessment for kids is ~3years where I am.

Fun fact: in UK epidurals are not offered and often refused when requested. (first-hand knowledge)

Fun fact 2: the NHS won't consider inducing labor when your embryotic fluids are draining. Three days wait time before they'll take any action. (also first-hand knowledge)

In the UK after living in CA & US; I pay more for NHS than I did for private insurance in USA.

People don't realize that healthcare in UK is not free (3x tax rate vs USA), and it's #rationedHealthcare

I've had doctor visits where I'm told what care I need but it's not covered by NHS, so f' me.

I'd rather be broke than dead. #rationedHealthcare

Don't even get me started on 8h wait times for ambulances...

Long A&E wait times lead to more than 250 needless deaths a week - analysis
Hundreds could be dying unnecessarily due to long waits in A&E in England, according to NHS data analysis.

Yeah may be true. People have to take responsibility for their actions. But let’s not forget all the people who didn’t vote.

The hostile binary rhetoric didn’t help either. Dem’s “if your not with us you’re against us” approach drove swing votes to the R’s.

This makes no sense. If you are born with one leg YOU ARE unipedal. The trans equiv would be arguing that you are bipedal because “humans are bipedal”

Species norms are not universal truths. Denying people’s unique circumstances is the apex of absurdity.
