Very true. With all our current problems — and there are many, and they must be fixed — if you are a citizen of the United States in 2025, by almost any objective metric you are one of the wealthiest, healthiest, and best-protected human beings to have ever lived. We shouldn’t lose sight of that.

Several Supreme Court decisions have upheld the Constitutional authority of governors to mandate vaccinations in their states. Blue-state governors should ignore RJK Jr and require the standard childhood vaccination schedule. That at least protects about half of the country’s children.

Unfortunately they have to be counted. They're an extreme, illiberal faction of the Left. That's why it's so important (and effective) for responsible liberals and progressives to be calling them out.
