My view of defunding the police never goes down well and so they edit it out, the only solution other than that would be a complete overhaul. Policing as it stands in the UK right now does not work.

Survivors of police brutality have been gaslit, victim blamed and abused further when speaking up about what they have faced.

I spoke on BBC Breakfast this morning about the Panorama Documentary showing abusive police at Charing Cross station.

We've heard the same things for decades, the commissioner apologises and promises change but then nothing happens and public pressure dies down.

I’ll be on bbc radio London soon discussing the panorama documentary on Charing Cross police.

I’ll be on newsnight at 10:30 discussing the panorama investigation into police at Charing Cross

The person was in a position of power and I am still linked with the company they work for.

Reaching out because I've been dealing with this in silence for a while and it's taking its toll on my mental health- Looking for a lawyer who can help with a case of sexual harassment. A person has sexually harassed me and all complaints have exacerbated the situation.

BREAKING NEWS:

Syrian asylum seeker found beating up a teen girl outside a club. He pushed her over and kept kicking her! It took 2 bouncers to stop him!

Labour wants to give him a 2nd chance!🤮
Correction: It was a Reform MP

See how your racism determines what you'll tolerate?

Not at this protest, it was a video online from about a week ago

Part 3 of my interview on LBC this morning talking about the arrests of people in London who stood with PA and against atrocities that are happening in Gaza.

..control of the public. The article shown above is apparently where a police officer didn’t know the law, let that one sink it, a police officer- got the law wrong. As someone who has had experience with being arrested when I hadn’t broken the law, it happens often, mostly to marginalised groups.

I have seen one video of someone being arrested for having a Palestinian flag, the police officer says ‘anything Palestine’ and the guy says he doesn’t support Palestine action’ the police officer says ‘I think you do’

Even if they hadn’t- police often abuse powers to arrest people for coercive..
patsystevenson.bsky.social
I spoke on LBC this morning about the mass arrests in London. By proscribing Palestine Action as a “terrorist” organisation, the government has created another tool to shut down protest over Gaza. Now, people are being arrested simply for holding a Palestinian flag.
patsystevenson.bsky.social
I spoke on LBC this morning about the arrests of over 400 protestors yesterday, supporting Palestine action and opposing the atrocities in Gaza right now.
patsystevenson.bsky.social
I just saw this! It’s wildddd
patsystevenson.bsky.social
Ill be on LBC tomorrow morning at 8am with Ben Kentish discussing the Met police arresting over three hundred protesters in London today who were supporting Palestine action
patsystevenson.bsky.social
Sending solidarity and support to those protesting in London today.

Standing up for the people of Palestine and Palestine action.

Police have been mass arresting protesters for holding up signs.

What a ridiculous and dangerous use of police power.

Exactly that, for me ‘women’s rights’ means ALL women, always has done.
