I always vote in person first day of early voting. Before and after that I knock on doors, and write postcards.

Yep! Can’t unscrew prescription bottles, can’t blow dry my hair. I was able to do contacts, but wore my glasses too. Showers every other day, because it’s hard.

I was so happy when I could tie my shoe. PT starts next week. I’m 68 and first fractured bone. Slipped on leaves hiking. Could have been worse so grateful for that!

I’m grateful for my wonderful neighbors that helped when I broke my shoulder and can’t drive, and again when my husband had severe inflammation and can’t drive either. Walking our dog , dropping off groceries, etc.

Every action helps, no matter how small. I made made sure my son voted last year- drove him to the polls to vote provisionally, this year, he made sure his wife, who hadn’t voted since Obama, got registered and he drove her to the polls so she voted.

I just knocked doors in a local election this month, where my candidate won by 74 votes in a reddish county. Defeated a moms for liberty incumbent. I couldn’t vote in this district but I could volunteer in it.

I live near the Bedford, Virginia National D-Day Monument. Most of Company A died in the first 10 minutes after landing in Normandy fighting Nazis. Here lies one of the in a city of Bedford cemetery. Allowing Nazi symbols dishonors their sacrifice.

Any amount of doors help.

I really enjoy engaging with voters at the doors A lot of people skip voting for these positions ( no D or R listed on ballot). This is a reddish area of the county.

I felt I really made a difference! He ran on anti bullying. He has doctorate in psychiatry and will be an asset. Funny story, I knocked the door of his competitor! Her son was listed as lean Dem.

I knocked a few hundred doors for a school board candidate this past November. He won ousting the moms for liberty incumbent by 74 votes! I’m going to continue to focus my efforts to help these candidates. They don’t have a lot of volunteers or a big pot of money.

I learned so much about voting and government from volunteering. This past election a close school board race had me researching provisional ballots.

Last year I got my son to vote, this year he made sure his wife registered and voted. Help your friends and family vote, then volunteer for a local candidate.

I always pick a local candidate and volunteer for them. A problem is uncontested races especially in rural areas. No one ran in my school board race, so I helped a school board race in another county.

My mom took me when she voted in the 1960s.
