I've though a lot about Cassandras over the last decade or so. I kept telling people about Trump/MAGA and what I saw coming our way, but nobody said "thanks for the warning". "Ignored and maligned" is as accurate description. Some still are too clueless to hear the truth about our reality.

I used to respect the Republican Party. Hell, I used to be a Republican. These days I see Republicans as the lowest form of human life. Greedy bastards, pussy grabbers, child predators, selfish, sleazy, corrupt...there are more disgusting words to describe them, but I find it too sad to consider.

I just hope the DEMs have the guts to govern for the people while they hold Trump's sleazy minions accountable for their crimes. Of course, the Sleazy SIx on the Supreme Court have made the Orange Psycho IMMUNE. 😡

I grew up in the South in the 50/60's and I can tell you for sure that racism is deep in the soul of most that I grew up with and adults I knew, though in my entire life I only met ONE WHO ADMITTED THEIR HATRED for black folks. I was lucky. My parents wouldn't allow hatred & racism in our home.
