#Survivor48 had so much promise. The editors squandered it with disingenuous editing. It’s making the players look like idiots because we’re not seeing the clips that would explain why they’re making these dumb seeming choices. I just feel manipulated and betrayed by my favorite show. Do better!

I am so ticked off at the way #Survivor48 is being edited. They’re purposely misdirecting us for fake suspense. There was NO indication that last night was going to be a unanimous vote, we never saw any of that convo between Kyle and Kamilla and Mitch or even Shauhin. It’s storytelling malpractice

Worried that I’m 50K words in and only halfway home #writinglife
Writing came hard today. Only three paragraphs. Climbed into bed and suddenly, in the notes app on my phone, I’m tapping out more words than I wrote all day. They’re rough but they build a bridge to the next section. They’re a place to begin tomorrow. This #writinglife is mysterious and magical.

Twin brothers, 19, beautiful Black boys, found dead outside a Georgia sundown town. They were on their way to the airport, airline tickets still in their pockets. An arrest has been made. A white man with an ugly spirit who showed off photos of the dead boys. This world will stomp your fckn heart.

“With Love, Meghan” is my new comfort watch. Aspirational, gorgeous sets, food made and presented with elegant yet almost rustic simplicity, leaving me feeling I could make that, too. Not that I will. But I’m happy she’s back out there, reclaiming her life, doing the creative work she loves.

They are removing the records of valor of women soldiers and women and men soldiers of color from the archives at Arlington National Cemetery. These women and men paid for our freedom with their lives. And now their names will be wiped from the ledger. Bad mind.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

#Survivor48 watch party here last night. When Eva confided in Joe everyone was in tears except for our group cynic. "They’re not gonna win!" he yelled. "The ones you love never do!" He was trying to save us from heartbreak. But we're already goners for Joe and Eva.
This scene absolutely wrecked me. Eva coming to Joe in such a vulnerable state. And him not only reciprocating, but vowing that he is with her to the end #Survivor48
