Hisako Kajiwara, 1896–1988, Japan.

From the 1918 start of her long career in the Kyoto independent art scene, Kajiwara worked to introduce modern and socially diverse identities for women into her art that combined traditional techniques (eg silk painting) with more modernist form.

He says he will now be dictating the institution’s “art and culture” and says it “must reflect” what he chooses.

Both Stalin & Hitler destroyed modern art & replaced it with their own crude taste, an ignorant interpretation of heroic "art" they thought was classical. It was actually static & insensitive propaganda.
