Sadly Fleur is continuing to deliberately mislead Putney residents by claiming that the closure of Hammersmith Bridge to cars is increasing traffic in Putney.
The reality is that traffic is down on all surrounding bridges since the closure of Hammersmith Bridge.

Hi Marsha, I have reviewed with interest your proposed amendments to the Bus Services bill which are targeting Floating Bus Stops.
Have you considered that banning FBSs as you propose will have severe consequences for inclusiveness in Active Travel?

Saw this on X when I woke up this morning.
Honestly it is shocking that this individual, with his aggressive hostility to safe cycling infrastructure, remains a trustee at the Campaign for Better Transport.

If you have to keep telling people that you are not anti-cycling then you are definitely anti-cycling.

Social and environmental justice means opposing controlled parking zones now. So we can add that to the opposition to ULEZ, road pricing, cycle lanes, LTNs, hire bikes, pedestrianisation of shopping centres and historic squares in the City.
Hard to see the common denominator ….

Traffic is down substantially on Putney Bridge compared to before the Bridge closure. I am afraid that Hammersmith Bridge is neither the source nor the solution to your concerns about too much traffic in Putney.

Gareth Richards and the Richmond Lib Dems appear confused:
Somehow their plan to induce 30,000 cars per day into residential streets in Barnes in London by reopening Hammersmith Bridge to cars squares with their pledge to clean the air in the Borough!

Perhaps instead of demanding that residents in other Boroughs suffer from displacement of traffic from Wandsworth it is time that Simon Hogg cultivated his own garden and did something to reduce car use in Wandsworth.
His ideological opposition to LTNs isn’t helping his residents and voters.

Perfectly normal social media behaviour from this anti-cycling lobby group. Four tweets in a row. Somebody is going to blow a gasket.

Don’t worry I have plenty more to say about the hubris of this notorious anti-cycling troll. This is the second time he has claimed moral superiority over “cyclists” shortly before putting himself in an ambulance.
This time:
Filming with a mobile phone at 3am ✅

Ha ha SEJ reported me.
For what exactly? Highlighting that Ediz is a liability to himself above all.
Mark my words - that guy is going to put himself into an early grave one way or another and the people at SEJ will bear a large part of the responsibility for using him as their dancing bear.

This notorious velophobe is actually going to kill himself if he keeps pretending he is a cyclist for attention on X.
How many times has he put himself in an ambulance now since he started his anti-cycling campaign a few years ago?

If Dave cycles with his kids every day then why does he have to post a six year old video to prove it?
What is Dave hiding when he is campaigning to remove protected cycle lanes from his children and force them to cycle in the main carriageway with buses?

Insightful political analysis from people in Ealing objecting to the approval of works to install a new small section of cycle lane on Boston Road.
The indisputable proof that democracy does not exist is that people get what they vote for.

This anti-cycling lobby group sends people to spend hours filming bus stop bypasses on protected cycle lanes in the centre of London.
And all they can do even with editing is post long videos showing numerous benign human scale interactions between pedestrians and cyclists.

I have to admit that I am really enjoying this “bus driver discovers tubes are busy in rush hour” story on X.

Fantastic feedback from early beneficiaries of the partly installed first Liveable Neighbourhood in Bristol.
Great that the Council is determined to implement the full LTN and that the clock will start on the trial only when all measures are fully across the area.
Nosity minority will not win.

We can’t do anything at all to restrict even one car anywhere because it might slightly inconvenience a driver somewhere.

Surely it is time to ban all hire vans from London?
