Funny how it's the right wing press and the right wing political appointments that are the people who really have their "thumbs on the scales". The people aiming for a supine BBC that is nothing but a propaganda arm of the right are these people.

This used to be the way BBC did things - they had their editorial standards, and if someone attacked them they stood behind their people or looked into it and admitted it if it was a mistake.
