A man who was deported from Ireland to Nigeria earlier this summer has been granted leave to return to Ireland to look again for international protection, effectively overturning his deportation order.

More evidence of the decline of editorial standards at @news.rte.ie as the main RTÉ News Web page header is just displaying "RT". Over the past year, spelling and grammar errors have also become very common.

I really don't believe in shooting the messenger but why oh why do media outlets tolerate the "backdrop of groupies" behind Irish party leaders? Surely, the microphones are enough!

Two 8-10 year old boys on an electric bike and electric scooter respectively, doing sharp-turns, "wheelies" and "loop-the-loops" etc. at the Union Cross junction this morning at 09:30, with no regard for traffic light changes and passing cars.
What kind of parents have they?
