I had to deal with this "minister" in West Limerick once. I can't see him rising to higher office.

Hopefully it won't be smashed by the hammer!

Whatever about punishing IW for underachieving, is this money that could have been better used renewing the network?

Whilst I am all for efficiency, the two Councils should never have been merged. The city did need a boundary extension but instead a Kerry man who ran a co-operative society came up with a plan more suited to business. I have nothing against the county but I am from Limerick City, not Co. Limerick!

Have the foxes been formally cautioned?

Pass the 🪣. The South Koreans seem to have taken note of how the U.K. pandered to him.

Anyone remember the famous historical phrase about bending over and kissing something "goodbye"? Russia will collapse from within, hopefully before they destroy 🇺🇦 Ukraine.

It is costing me €149 to stay one night in an hotel in Kilkenny (for a work course) on a Tuesday night in November. I can claim it back but these prices send people abroad and deter foreigners from coming here.

Happy anniversary indeed but as a native and returned resident, I never knew that they were based here.

I am reminded of Einstein's definition of insanity: doing the same thing again and again and expecting a different result. France really does seem ungovernable.

A very fair point. I am a registered UAV pilot myself and I concur fully. PS, I have never been to Porterstown Park 😀

When I lived up north, the SF-controlled councils charged the highest domestic rates.

Regardless of the illegality and immorality of what Israel is doing, why the hell should the protest junkies be allowed to obstruct pedestrians, professional drivers, commuters and motorists etc. and cause chaos at teatime? Very few, if any, of those obstructed would even have been to Israel.

I have just listened to the interview with Mark O'Meara of the GRA on RTÉ R1's News At One. My distinct impression was that he was throwing the blame in every direction except his own members. Yes, there is blame to be apportioned but those errant members need to be sanctioned.
