Despite the promises made in order to end the shutdown, did Johnson even allow a vote on any bill to extend the tax credits?

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt, for now, and believe that it's the conscience cleansing part of her exit strategy.

Meanwhile, white South Africans, Scandinavians, and others of the lighter-skinned persuasion will continue to be actively encouraged to come to the U.S.

Vance, like his boss, seems quite comfortable with incessantly lying.

Thanks, Ben. Very thoughtful piece in this difficult time.

“…to preserve the integrity of the proceedings.”

Since when did any aspect of the proceedings against Sen. Kelly show any signs of integrity?

Maybe he’s been availing himself of the now-legal recreational cannabis that’s ubiquitous in Colorado and just doesn’t realize the legal infirmity of his position. Alternatively, maybe he was having a stroke when he wrote the letter. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Won’t matter. Trump has shown no willingness to ever admit mistakes.

Worse than the drunk uncle at the family Thanksgiving table.

A narcissistic psychopath who knows that there will be no negative consequences for anything he does because the people who have the authority to do something are more worried about their own political futures than about serving the American people by excising this tumor from the White House.

Saw that. Taking what he said at face value, here's the Readers' Digest version: "Rob Reiner was against me and deserved to be murdered."

Even Trump's base is giving signals that this was another bridge too far. Most Americans know that he's evil, mentally unhinged, etc., but those with the authority to something about it (e.g., 25th Amend.) feign ignorance of the facts and remain silent. Relentless pressure must be turned on them.

Yep. Rather refreshing.

Nothing that a little MAGA Fast-Drying, High Strength Spackling can't hide. RNC and White House operatives are probably already at work on a diversionary tactic.

And His kindness and grace stand in stark contrast to the picture painted by countless pastors and other "believers" who emphasize only the idea that we must cower in fear of His wrath and vengeance. Makes one wonder whether their Bibles are missing the New Testament.

Probably the bone spurs.

It’s hard to name anyone in history more lacking in basic human decency and grace than Trump, and that encompasses lots of despicable people. In Romans 8, Paul said that God uses all things for the good of those who love Him. All we can do is teach people to have faith that God meant what Paul said.
